Conversations That Matter Series for the Midlife Woman
I had the pleasure of being interviewed by the lovely, soulful & inspiring Evelyn Kalinosky of Inner Affluence for her Conversations That Matter Series for the Midlife Woman. Evelyn started the Conversations That Matter Series because she saw so many high-achieving & dynamic women out in the world living their purpose in midlife and beyond, and felt it was time to have important discussions about what it means to be a midlife woman. She — along with her guests — are rewriting the story about what it means to be a woman aging.
Knowing Evelyn, I first felt immense gratitude for being invited to participate. While still honored, next came the realization that yep, I’m a midlife woman.
I give very little time or consideration to my age, which for the record is 46. After all, I still feel 27-29! Yet when you’re asked to weigh in on a conversation about what it means to be a midlife woman in today’s world, you definitely pause to contemplate the differences between where you are now (through the eyes of a 46-year-old) and where you thought you’d be (through the eyes of a 27-year-old).
Fortunately, Evelyn made this all the easier by sending a list of thought-provoking questions for me to mull over before our conversation. Take a look at a few of my responses and listen in on our full conversation where we get real about midlife challenges and opportunities by clicking on the link below. Please share your thoughts & comments either here or on Evelyn’s site, wherever you happen to end up.
