Kaleidoscope of TEA & Fall Flavors
Adventures with Tea – Fall Flavor Reveal
As a tea-lover, I’m so excited my order from our friends Maryls & Alan Arnold of Adventures with Tea arrived, along with a few special surprises (like this Tea Explorations Journal & fun, festive fall cutouts)!
Which One Should I Try First?
I picked up their new fall flavors … of these 5 (one a new year-round flavor and the other 4 new seasonal flavors i.e. available for a limited time) which one would you try first??
- Caramel Brownie Sensation (lucky for us, a new year-round flavor!)
If you love the indulgence of freshly-baked, rich caramel brownies, but don’t want all the calories, this black tea blend may be the perfect solution to satisfy your craving! It’s great by itself or with steamed milk added to make a latte.
Ingredients: Black tea, natural caramel flavor, cocoa nibs, natural chocolate flavor, natural vanilla flavor
- Cinnamon Apple Chai
It’s a quintessential autumn pairing: apples and spice. In this twist on the traditional Masala chai, apples take a leading role alongside cinnamon, cloves and a hint of orange. You may discover this black tea blend becomes your new go-to beverage for sweater weather!
Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon bark, ginger root, cardamom, orange peels, cloves, apple pieces, natural apple flavor, natural cinnamon flavor - Caramel Spice Delight
Caramel drizzled over anything lends a sweet touch with just a hint of earthy smokiness. Combine that with a dash of cinnamon and you have a delight for the senses that almost defies description, just like this green tea blend.
Ingredients: Gunpowder tea, apple pieces, cinnamon bark, rose hips, natural creme brûlée flavor, marigold flowers, rose petals - October Nights
As days get shorter, that leaves more time for evenings spent around an open fire. So gather your friends or family, then kick back and enjoy a cup of this sweet and spicy blend with just a hint of smokiness.
Ingredients: Honeybush, apple pieces, aniseed, lapsang souchong, cocoa nibs, rose hips, cinnamon bark, red peppercorn, orange peels, cloves, natural cinnamon flavor, natural orange flavor, safflower, natural hazelnut flavor - Winter Dreaming
Winter is a magical time of year. Snowflakes dance and lights glow. So whether you’re enjoying sleigh rides and snow angels or classic stories told by the fire, this sweet and nutty rooibos blend is the perfect way to warm up a cold winter’s night!Ingredients: Rooibos, apple pieces, cocoa nibs, natural caramel flavor, marigold flowers, natural hazelnut flavor, blue cornflowers, natural chestnut flavor
They all sound good to me! While it doesn’t feel like fall here in Florida, these flavors certainly bring to mind Midwest memories of autumn. Can’t wait to try them all!!
Kaleidoscope of T.E.A.
Marlys Arnold is a member of our Kaleidoscope group, which recently added a feature we call “Magic from our Members.” We call the particular magic we receive from Marlys, Alan & Adventures with Tea our “Kaleidoscope of T.E.A.”
Why? We blend the monthly forecast I brew up, steeped in T.E.A. (Thoughts, Energy & Actions) and pair it with a tea recommended by the Arnolds … one that represents the energy of the month and the adventures & experiences brought to mind.
Our Kaleidoscope of T.E.A. for September is Cinnamon Apple Chai — playful, confident & bold!
About Marlys & Arnold Alan and Adventures with Tea
When Alan & Marlys Arnold launched their own line of artisan teas, they chose the name Adventures with Tea to emphasize that tea can be fun and creative, in addition to being tasty and healthy. But they don’t stop at promoting tea as a beverage – they also include it as an ingredient in everything from main dishes to desserts. Over the past two decades, they’ve developed hundreds of tea-infused recipes, many of which have been published in their eMagazine and blog. They teach cooking classes, and are authors of the Tea Explorations Journal. They’re also currently working on a cookbook.
