Chances are there is a lot of lost time in your day, no matter how busy you are. If you want to maximize the use of your time, try tracking yourself throughout a couple of days and either write down or be aware of how you spent the time you’ve been allotted (which, by the way, is pretty much the same for everyone and not likely to change anytime soon). You’ll be amazed to find chunks of time that just sort of disappear, usually into the web, your email, meetings that are too long, the telephone and more. My bet is you’ll find another hour in that day!
