We often take our own innate capabilities, talents and skills for granted. These things just come so easily for us; isn’t that what others think and experience, too?
Uh, no. Stop for a moment and reflect today on those you know and all the things you appreciate about them. Dig a little more, considering what you love about them, feel they are naturally talented at, and marvel at what they seem to so effortlessly do in their day-to-day lives.
There are people out there appreciating, loving and marveling at you, too! Are these the same things you appreciate, love and marvel about yourself? Things you aspire to? Or things you are simply grateful for, as you know you possess complementary capabilities, talents and skills, based on experiences and situations you’ve shared, are sharing or perhaps will share someday?
This month’s energy is inviting us to accept, appreciate and own all our capabilities, talents and skills. To do so allows us to show up fully in our lives. This practice helps us build upon our proficiencies confidently, courageously and considerately. To help us align with these energies, our theme for September is Adept.
