Kaleidoscope Movie Magic – September 2020
Kaleidoscope Movie Magic – September 2020
Kaleidoscope group member Lisa Wellington of ReelHappiness.com shares her Reel Happiness Cinema Therapy through a write-up called “Kaleidoscope Group Movie Magic” which ties in with our monthly energy theme. Enjoy!
This month’s selection is Night Shift.
A nebbish of a morgue attendant becomes shackled with an eccentric, excitable partner overflowing with ideas — including one for a local lady of the evening in dire straits.
Dir. Ron Howard. Perf. Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton, Shelly Long, Gina Hecht. Warner Bros., 1982.
As You Watch
Notice & jot down characters’ perceptions on various subjects as you go, and how these… well, shift during the proceedings:
♦ Transferrable skills & puzzle pieces: Chuck (desirable work, undesirable workplace — twice!), Belinda (undesirable work, desirable workplace — and her unflinching practicality about that); Bill’s ability to connect dots in unusual ways, resulting in a brain trained for Scoping Solutions (however arguably nutty!)
♦ The world through eyeglasses: Chuck’s growing awareness of the reality of the fuzzy world he has created for himself; Chuck’s approach to biz vs. Franklin’s & the resulting new solutions for Belinda & Co; how Chuck, Bill, & Belinda support each other, creating fresh possibilities for all.
Guided Journaling
Lisa generously provides a handout with watching suggestions (the above represents just a portion!) & guided journaling exercises created specifically for our Kaleidoscope group. Enjoy benefits & perks like this and more when you Scope It, Shift It, and Click It™, joining our colorful community as a private client!
Each month, we take a deep dive into the month’s colors and energy. I also share what you need to know based on your own personal color preferences.
Plus, we explore readings & affirmations for additional inspiration & loving support. Since we have 2 live calls each month, there’s plenty of open Q&A and group share time with me & our members.
