Do what you love, delegate the rest.
Sounds easy, right? Yet we make this so hard.
We continue to do things we don’t like or aren’t good at, why?
For many years I tried to figure this one out. I’ve read books, watched movies, listened to audio programs, asked experts and come up with this answer:
We’re afraid of looking vulnerable or weak. Afraid that if we’re not doing it ALL or good at the things we’re SUPPOSED to be good at as parents, business owners or partners, someone might see that as a weakness.
Here’s a secret………those are all conversations we’re having with ourselves, they are things that hold us back from reaching our goals. They are stories we’re using to create our reality. At the end of the day does it really matter what most people think if you’re happy, your business is growing and you’ve actually got time for other things in life?
Following your passion, sharing your gifts and doing it for a living shouldn’t be draining, on the contrary; it should feel energizing and empowering. When we’re doing what comes naturally and delegating or eliminating the rest, we have more time, energy and passion for sharing our gifts with the world, and we’re a lot happier as well!
We don’t have to do it all, we just have to be amazing at what we love to do. And we have to let others do the things that are blocking us from living the life we truly desire.
YOU have a special talent, a gift something magical and unique that makes you exactly who you are. You’re here for a purpose and to live your dreams, it’s time to step up and do just that and let others help you along the way.
It doesn’t matter where you are now in your business right now, if you want something different, first have to believe in it, and then take action working daily toward achieving it. Dream big, surround yourself with big dreamers and follow your passion!
