Kaleidoscope Movie Magic – October 2017
Our Kaleidoscope group recently added a feature we call “Magic from our Members.” Member Lisa Elin of ReelHappiness.com is now sharing her Reel Happiness Cinema Therapy through a write-up called “Movie Magic.”
This month’s selection is Whale Rider. Paikea, a young Maori girl, strives to pursue her authentic calling despite the fierce resistance of her beloved but intractably traditional grandfather, who is also the community’s revered elder.
Directed by Niki Caro. Starring Keisha Castle- Hughes (Oscar® nominee for Best Actress), Rawiri Paratene, Cliff Curtis, Vicky Haughton, Grant Roa, Mana Taumaunu. Newmarket Films, 2003.
As You Watch
♦ Remember the Wise Ways described in October’s forecast, and notice Paikea’s use of each—both when she accesses and how she wields them.
♦ Observe how Paikea responds to external forces—when she chooses to yield, and when she asserts herself (why, and how).
♦ Notice the ease and gentleness with which she infuses her resolve and owns her truth, even (especially!) when others oppose her.
Lisa generously shares an awesome report with watching suggestions & guided journaling exercises created specifically for our Kaleidoscope group. Enjoy benefits & perks like this and more when you join our colorful community!
Each month, we take a deep dive into the month’s colors and energy. I also share what you need to know based on your own personal color preferences.
Plus, we explore Angel messages & affirmations for additional inspiration & loving support. Since we have 2 live calls each month, there’s plenty of open Q&A and group share time with me & our members.
